Rainbow Divers helped established PADI in Vietnam in the mid ‘90s and are now synonymous with professional diving and training throughout the country with PADI 5 star centres in Nha Trang, Hoi An, Whale Island, Phu Quoc and Con Dao.

The Rainbow Academy is based in Nha Trang, the diving capital of Vietnam. It is easily accessible with a short domestic flight from Saigon or Hanoi. Cheaper train & bus connections are also available.

- All fees payable to PADI are included
- If you own your own equipment the cost is reduced by $750
- When you become certified you can stay longer to gain further experience for only $700 per month which includes accommodation and unlimited recreational diving.
- We offer a guaranteed buy-back scheme should you not wish to keep your dive equipment
- We can assist you in finding permanent employment in Vietnam, Asia and certain other parts of the world
- Additional Instructor level training programs available up to Master Instructor
- For an additional $750 (including flights) we can arrange to split your training between Vietnam & Thailand. We work with Mermaids in Pattaya, an outstanding CDC & Nat Geo Centre.

This is the highest non-professional recognition that a recreational diver can achieve. To become a PADI Master Scuba Diver you must be certified as an Advanced & Rescue diver and take a minimum of 5 PADI Specialty Courses.
We recommend that 3 of your Specialties are Deep, Night & Navigation.
The other 2 (or more) can be chosen from the following:

We at Rainbow Divers firmly believe that the MSD rating should be a mandatory step for meeting Divemaster performance requirements. It can be completed before or during the DM course.
The PADI Divemaster course can be taken over a 1-3 month period for $1,500 including manuals & materials. This also includes any equipment use and unlimited recreational diving.
At the end of the course you will be an experienced & professional Rainbow-Trained PADI Divemaster!
The PADI Divemaster Course can also be taken at our latest location
Sangalaki Dive Lodge in Borneo.
The Course is for 30 days and includes accommodation, meals, manuals and diving in world-class conditions!

The Rainbow Academy offers Instructors professional con-ed courses.
THE IDC STAFF PROGRAM
This is a 3 month program which takes new Instructors through the real-life experiences of actually teaching students, marketing within the dive industry and invaluable equipment & compressor training.
You will achieve at least...
- 25 student diver certifications
- 5 PADI Specialty Instructor training & ratings
- PADI MSDT rating
- PADI IDC Staff training & rating
- 150 additional recreation/training dives
- Compressor & Equipment servicing & maintenance experience
- Invaluable ‘hands-on’ experience of working at one of the 5 Rainbow Divers Centres throughout Vietnam (looks great on a CV!)
